Our Christmas.

I am finally getting around to posting our Christmas. I think I am still in shock that it is all over. It went by so fast.
We had a wonderful Christmas. It was so fun to the boys excitement. They are at such fun ages and I will cherish this time forever.
Christmas Eve
After we got home from my family party that morning, the boys played and I made dinner. We had my parents over and just had a really nice relaxed night. The boys loved having grandma and grandpa. We played games, read, kept track of Santa on the computer, and made cookies.

Traditional Christmas pictures.
My family- Oh I love them so much.
Grandma and Grandpa with the boys. Jayce was dressed normal, but it's basketball season, so he is always in a baketball jersey and shorts.
Me and Mike. Our 10th Christmas together.
Jayce won BINGO
Cole is our game boy. Him and my mom could play games for hours. They are so much a like.
We opened our "CHRISTMAS" jammies and they all got a stuffed animal and book.
Zander loved his panda. He wasn't into opening presents. He could care less about them. He is just so busy and running around everywhere. He is one busy boy.
Jayce got the cookies ready for Santa
And Cole was glued to the computer to see where Santa was. He loves maps and had so much fun doing this.
Cute Jammie's. I love Christmas Jammie's

Sticking his cute little Budda belly out.
Christmas Morning.
I woke up at about 5:30 and was so excited. The boys didn't wake up forever. I finally woke Mike up at about 7:15. My poor sweet husband. Cole woke up around 8:15, Jayce 8:35 and then we woke Zander up at 8:45. I couldn't take it--- WAKE UP BOYS. No I am glad they slept in, but it was killing me.
Santa Came
The boys asked for Green Machines. They are like a bike and a big wheel. They are awesome. I think I have had more fun then the boys.
I started a new tradition of making the boys individual books about them. They took a lot of time to make, but my hard work paid off. They were both so excited about them. Cole totally stopped opening presents and just looked at the book. It made me so happy. We finally had to tell him to open the presents.
Zander got him a bike and loved it. That is all he wanted to do.
Then what I was so excited about.......
The boys asked for a puppy. They were both very determined that is all they wanted. After a lot of research and begging Mike- They got a puppy.
After they opened their presents, I asked them if they got everything they wanted. Jayce said Yes, but of course I could tell he was totally bummed there was no dog. He wanted a dog the most.
Well----- There was one more box under the tree. It was addressed to our family. They opened it and it was full of dog stuff. Dog food, doggy dish, collar, toys and a doggy bed.
They both were so confused.
Then I brought her out.... Our new little puppy.
Isn't she cute?
I can't tell you how priceless the moment was. They were so excited. Jayce screamed. Cole said "Is this for real? I can't believe it." It was the cutest thing ever. They love her. Mike and I love her.
Long story short- we were going to get another dog, but I didn't feel good about it. It was a golden retriever and she was darling, but I knew the boys would have a hard time playing with her outside in the cold and I definitely didn't want a big dog in my house. Mike and I swore we would never have a dog in the house, but we decided if we want a dog and wanted the boys to play with her all the time, then we needed to get a inside dog. So a few days before Christmas- we changed our minds and went with a yorkie.
The boys named her Lizzy and she has been so much fun. She was 6 weeks when we got her and we almost have her potty trained. It is fun to see how much the boys love her. She and Zander play all day.
After the excitement of the dog- we went outside and tested out the green machines. Hard to believe it was Christmas. It was so nice outside.

We had church at 1, so we had a nice relaxed morning. I really loved Christmas on a Sunday. We had a great meeting and then came home and went to Grandma and Grandpa Christofferson's. We had a wonderful dinner and then opened gifts from each other.
Jayce got Jingle the talking puppy from Aunt Kelli.
Cole got some awesome books from Uncle Dave.
The we played a game where we pass the presents to the left and right. The boys love that.
We also got to Skype with Janae and Carter. It was fun to see them and hear how their Christmas was. We miss them.
We had a wonderful day and wonderful week together. It was hard to send the boys back to school this week. We had way to many late nights and sleeping in. But it is always good to have routine back and I think we are back into the swing of things.
