Projects..

We have been working on some fun projects at our house.

First we started down stairs. When we moved in they had a little bar they build with a mini fridge and microwave. BUT not water. So it wasn't like a little kitchen. It was really a waste of space. I have been wanting to put our computer out in an open room, so we decided to do it there. I found a desk in Pottery Barn I loved, but didn't want to pay that much money. Good thing I married a handy man. Mike drew up some plans and we started. He is so wonderful. We are also lucky we have a great neighbor that is an expert carpenter. Nick was great and helped Mike. They had a fun time working together.

I should of done a Before picture, but didn't . So here it is after we were done. We love it. We built it with a double desk, so we could put 2 chairs and help the boys with homework. It has been so nice.

I painted the chairs and love how they turned out. It gives the room so much color. I had to buy new pillows for the couch to match of course.

I also got the painting bug and painted a piano. We wanted Cole to start piano lesson's, but didn't want to spend a lot on a new piano, so I bought a old one on KSL and painted it. I think it turned out great. Cole has started lesson's and is doing awesome. It has been a lot of fun. I want to get a big picture to put above.

We have already been talking about what we want to do next.....
