Keith Urban

Mike and I aren't the wild and crazy type- but everyone once in a while we get a wild hair.

We got tickets to Keith Urban in Denver. We have been to all of his concerts here in Utah, but his tour didn't stop in Utah this time. We were bummed.
One day I got a email for tickets to Denver for $24 dollars- yes I know -I couldn't believe it either. So I called Mike and we booked the flight and then bought concert tickets to Keith and before we knew it we were out of here for a 32 hour get a way to Denver. Our Mom's both helped watch the boys. They are always so great to help and we appreciated them so much. With Zander burning his hand- I didn't know if we were going to be able to go. He didn't sleep good and was in alot of pain for a few days, but he seemed to be doing better and I knew our Mom's would take great care of him. It was the first time I have ever left him. I don't like to leave my babies very often, but he did perfectly fine without me. And it was so nice to be with just Mike.
We stayed at the Magonolia right in down town on 17th street. It was such a nice place.The concert was incredible. Keith sang for 2 hours straight. So so fun. I think it was his best concert we have been to. We are both huge fans of Keith. Okay- I might be a little more, but Mike is great sport.

We had walked to the Pepsi center and just took our time on the way to the concert. We ate and shopped, so it wasn't a bad walk, but it was after 11 when the concert got out and it was a little cold, so we paid for the Bike Cab. It was the best $20 bucks ever. It was almost as much as our air fare, but it was so fun. I giggled the whole time.

The next morning we went to breakfast and shopped around for a while. Here we are in front of our Hotel.

Then it was off to the airport and back home. We did have to get some yummy Ben and Jerry's ice cream at the airport.

We got home and the boys were as darling as could be and they had so much fun with their Grandmas. We are going to have to go more often.
Thanks to my sweetheart for a such a fun little getaway. He is the best and I love him so much.
